Dr Vered Schildkraut

Dr Vered is an experienced paediatric gastroenterologist and provides consultation services to assess, diagnose and manage infants, children and adolescents with gastrointestinal issues.  She manages a range of GI and liver issues, including Coeliac disease, constipation, eosinophilic oesophagitis, functional gut disorders, inflammatory bowel disease, reflux and nutritional problems. 

 

Dr Vered works at Monash Children’s Hospital and in private practice at Holmesglen Private Hospital and Melbourne Children's Clinic.

 

Vered completed her general paediatric training in Israel (2002), and after moving to Melbourne with her family, gained certification for general Paediatrics in Australia (FRACP, 2008) and for Paediatric Gastroenterology (2011). Dr Vered has trained in paediatric gastroenterology, nutrition, herpetology and endoscopy at The Royal Children's Hospital and Monash Children's Hospital.

 

Dr Vered is accredited to perform Paediatric gastroscopy, colonoscopy and capsule endoscopy. She performs diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures at Monash Children’s and at Cabrini Hospital Malvern.
